The Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups Jackson's Classic Kettle Chips
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

Directions:

Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400ºF.

Step 2: In a shallow bowl, whisk together your eggs, salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix until well combined.

Step 3: In another shallow bowl, combine your crushed Jackson's Classic Kettle Chips, breadcrumbs, and Parmesan cheese. Stir until the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Step 4: Slice your chicken breasts into strips about 1/4-inch thick. Ensure that the strips are of uniform thickness for even cooking.

Step 5: Dip each chicken strip into the egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Then, roll the chicken in the chip mixture, pressing lightly to ensure the coating sticks well.

Step 6: Place the coated chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Ensure the strips are spaced out evenly.

Step 7: Bake the chicken strips in the preheated oven until they are golden brown and crispy, about 14-16 minutes. Check that the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165ºF to ensure they are fully cooked.

Step 8: Remove the chicken fries from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Pair with Chosen Foods Chicken Sauce for a delicious dipping experience and enjoy!
